Iran actors celebrate Yalda night

Many actors in Iran have celebrated Yalda night with the beloved ones, sharing photos online.

Yalda night is a beautiful ancient Iranian event in which Iranians celebrate the longest and darkest night of the year or winter solstice.

On Friday, many Iranians marked such special occasion through rituals including reciting the holy Quran as well as poetry book of Hafez written by the celebrated Iranian poet. Families also serve their guests with fruit and nuts such as pomegranates, watermelons and Iranian pistachios.
